The Cave People
Just a hundred or so years ago, if you’d have come to Iceland you’d have found some of its residents living in caves. If you’re curious to find out what that might have been like, living inside a cave, then this tour is for you, discounted by 20% as you’re a client of ours. Find out about the cave’s last residents, Jón Þorvarðsson and Vigdís Helgadóttir, whose home it was for four years. They reared a few sheep and owned a cow, hunted ptarmigan, grew potatoes and foraged for wild berries. It was a simple life, as you will see, but we think they were happy.BOOK & SAVE MONEY
